Refund Policy | The Local Ticket
Welcome to The Local Ticket! Our platform connects you with amazing events hosted by independent organizers. Please read our refund policy carefully to understand how refunds work.
Who Sets the Refund Policy?
Event organizers set their own refund policies for their events on the Local Ticket. This means refund terms may vary between events. We require organizers to clearly display their specific refund policy on their event page before you complete your purchase.
Always review the organizerโs refund policyย at checkout.
When Refunds Are Required (Organizer Responsibilities)
Regardless of an organizerโs stated policy, The Localย Ticket requires organizers to issue refundsย in the following situations:
-
Event Cancellation
If an event is canceled, you are entitled to a full refund of your ticket price. -
Event Rescheduling
If an event is rescheduled and you cannot attend the new date, you are entitled to a refund. -
Significant Event Changes
If an event undergoes major changes (e.g., location, headline performer, main content, date, or format) that differ substantially from what was advertised, you may request a refund. -
Denied Entry with Valid Ticket
If you are denied entry to the event despite having a valid ticket and following entry requirements, you are entitled to a refund. -
Fraudulent or Misrepresented Events
If an event is determined to be fraudulent, misrepresented, or fails to deliver what was explicitly promised, you will receive a refund.
